Well Spring is certainly here and this makes me feel like I want to create new things.  We had a sucessful Hamilton Craft Fair, there were lots of happy people doing lots of creative things.  Here is a photo of our stand.  Liz and I had a ball setting it up, it felt like we were never going to get it all done in time, but then everything slipped into place.

I hope you are surviving the cold temperatures.  I love it as I can snuggle up inside and sew and knit to my hearts content. We have had our fire going non stop so it is lovely and warm.  We have had our first lot of Christmas fabric arrive believe it or not it is only 4 months until Christmas, so get your Christmas projects done and save the stressing in December.

Well we are now in the middle of winter and my sewing room is being put to good use.  I have just finished Lionel Lizard and I am very proud of myself.  I am now trying to work out what fabrics to make a second one.  He was so much fun to make.  We are having a class on making this Lizard on the 30th June.  Book in soon!!

The new French General range has just arrived - Pom Pom de Paris and it is so beautiful I've just got to make something with it.  I thought it would make a beautiful Turning Twenty Quilt - you take 20 fat quarters and cut them up into 4 different sized pieces and make a quilt with them - it is a lovely quilt.

Well here we are already into April.  Where has the first half of the year gone to.  I know!!  I have spent it creating and the hours go by like minutes when I'm in that mode.  I love it though.  If you have read my blog on the website you will have seen some of these photo's.  I had such a great weekend last weekend sewing and knitting and my husband made yummy dinners for us I was in heaven.
