A Busy Wednesday
Hi Everyone,
We had a busy day today with our "Bag Lady" Class in the large classroom, Liz and I with both our embroidery machines running hot in the small classroom and then when the "Bag Ladies" finished we ended the day with the young girls doing their borders on their quilts in progress. A fun day all and all.
Here are the "Bag Ladies", they started at 9.30 and were finished their bags by 3.30 so they did very well. They made their own piping to match and also put zips in the inside pocket. We are having another class on this same bag (Palm Beach Sling) on Thursday 24th February if anyone wants to join us. Just phone or email us if you are interested.

Kate hand sewing on her binding on this very luscious quilt. While she waits for Eve to finish her lesson.

This is the teacher Liz having a joke with Eve. Eve is quilting her borders and no doubt Liz is telling Eve (Speedy Evie) to slow down!

Eve hard at work here, concentrating well.

This is Eve's creation. Isn't this a beautiful quilt?

Chantelle looking for her unpicker - Oh dear!

Here is Chantelle's quilt layed out on the floor. She is quilting her borders at the moment. Such a lovely bright quilt this one.

Tayler with a very happy smile on her face. I think she is having a good time today. She is doing a great job and her quilt looks fantastic!

Here it is!! WOW!!

Well it's been a good day today and tomorrow we are having our class with Angie Spong doing the Latte Quilt on our embroidery machines. This is always a good day. I will hopefully have more photo's to upload tomorrow. I'm enjoying doing this blog. I hope everyone is enjoying seeing the photo's. Keep coming on line to see what we are up to here at The Apple Basket. See you tomorrow. Ngaire
