Bag Class Photo's

Hi Everyone,

Here are some photo's of one of our Bag Lady Club's.  We had a great day and everyone got their bags finished in class.  I love it when everyone goes home with their projects finished.  They really feel like they have achieved something.  Have a look at the fabulous bags they made.  This first one is Debbie's.

Hi Everyone,

We had a busy day today with our "Bag Lady" Class in the large classroom, Liz and I with both our embroidery machines running hot in the small classroom and then when the "Bag Ladies" finished we ended the day with the young girls doing their borders on their quilts in progress.  A fun day all and all.

The Night Before Christmas Block of the Month

Look at these gorgeous fabrics that have just come in for our latest gorgeous block of the month.  I have managed to get the first block done.  I am doing it using the Needle Turn Made Easy technique that I love to do so much.  I just want to keep working on it!  It's a pity I have to sleep.  Maybe I will have a late night tonight and work away on it.

Christmas Party

We had a fun day yesterday at our Patchwork Club Christmas party.  We played "Secret Santa" and everyone was stealing each others gifts.  One gift that was really popular was a beautiful diary cover made by Shirley Julian - everyone kept stealing that.  Liz Saunders ended up with it, luckcy Liz.  The day was very hot but we all kept cool with the iced punch then had a yummy afternoon tea of cream lilies, hazelnut christmas cake, shortbread and nutties.  Very nice.
